ICS's annual fundraiser - Taste of India will be held on Saturday, February 24.

This much-loved event invites everyone to enjoy Indian food from various regions of the country.

Date: Saturday, Feb 24

Time: 6:00 - 8:30 PM

Venue: Lincoln Square Mall (in the main hallway, near the IDEA store)

Tickets: $1 per ticket, use these to purchase food from various stalls. Cash and credit cards will be accepted at the event.

As you may know, the Indian CU community hosts this food bazaar with home-prepared dishes for sale. The profits are presented to a local charity - Feeding Our Kids - that provides nourishing food to food-insecure school children on weekends and school holidays throughout the school year.

Three ways you can participate to help the community:

Visit: Come to the event to enjoy the lively ambience and eat delicious food. Please invite some friends too! This is a very family friendly event and kids love it as much as adults.

Volunteer: Prepare a dish or two, or help staff the event. Please reply to this message if you are interested in helping out! We appreciate all our volunteers and their contributions! A group of volunteers can set up their own stall featuring any regional cuisine!

Vendor: If you engage in any kind of artistic endeavor or have a small business and would like to sell your items at the event, you can do so! ICS will charge a flat $50 to be a vendor at Taste of India. We will provide a table for you to showcase your items. All sales revenue will belong to the seller.
